"It is my first time to stay to Auberge de Meo..."

It is my first time to stay to Auberge de Meo Vac. The room - the2rd floor is spacious and gives a good night sleep ambiance. The bathroom is very cute and nature.I like everything in here. I will definitely book in my future trips.

"Like something out of Game of Thrones this in..."

Like something out of Game of Thrones this incredible 'Auberge' is a hidden gem. Excellent cuisine, some of the best rice wine I have tasted, the co-owner Thai is an amazing character with a delightful humour. Member of staff Lianh understands English and provides a very gentile and thoughtful care. The rooms are clean, beds very comfortable and cosy and details like the soap provided which is kinder to the local environment thoughtfully provided. The bathrooms are provided in a separate stylish block (pebbles surround a stone slab base in each rainbath-type shower, with heating lamps so you stay warm after your ablutions)and this preserves the simple structure and historical integrity of the main building where the bedrooms are, which of itself has been restored with enormous care and love. In particular the stone pillaster bases either side of the entrance in the main facade in the sunny courtyard, the heavy dark carved wood both in the fabric of the building, like the beams, doors and walls and huge carved wall hooks, and the furniture, along with textiles of cushions and decor just make it feel as though you are in some other time - truly this place has an other-worldliness to it. I keep expecting to see Iain Glenn as Ser Jorah Mormont to come striding through the entrance gate, framed by the geo park limestone carst mountains behind. On my tour here I am glad to get two nights here to really enjoy and relax in these beautiful surroundings.

"Beautiful H'mong ancient house with poppy dec..."

Beautiful H'mong ancient house with poppy decoration. The place is cozy and clean. The wine of the house is a must-try. And the mint honey lemon juice is the best drink in the cold winter days. But the price for the room it's pretty high.
